Tired of looking tired, even when you aren’t? Dark circles and hollows underneath your eyes can make you look exhausted and aged. To solve this, Belotero is Dr. Peter Damico’s first choice when it comes to correcting his patients’ under eyes. Unlike many of the other fillers available at Skin Care Fort Worth, Dr. Damico chooses Belotero for the thin skin under your eyes because Belotero is designed to completely integrate into the skin tissue.
Belotero is a dermal filler specially developed to integrate into facial skin. Belotero is created using a unique manufacturing process which yields a soft and cohesive gel that looks natural and feels natural to the touch. When it is injected beneath the skin, it fills in small gaps in the tissue and provides immediate correction. Dr. Damico believes that Belotero is an ideal option for treating delicate areas such as your under-eyes.
After you decide that Belotero is right for you, Dr. Damico is the only injector at Skin Care Fort Worth and he will proceed your treatment.
Some fillers that we have at Skin Care Fort Worth are formulated with anti-pain medication to allow for a more comfortable treatment session. However, Belotero is not one of those fillers and so your treatment will begin with Dr. Damico numbing the treatment area by injecting lidocaine. Many patients describe a small pinching sensation with the lidocaine shot but say they feel no pain or discomfort for the rest of their treatment time. Dr. Damico will then use a cannula (instead of a needle) to protect the blood vessels under your eyes while he finishes your treatment with Belotero. When Dr. Damico is done, you will have immediate, natural-looking and feeling results!

Belotero is FDA approved and clinically proven safe and effective. However, just like any injection, you may experience mild irritation, swelling, itching, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site. These side effects typically resolve on their own.
